                                                 ~ Skin & Scales ~
Our Mission:
To educate the public and help protect the worlds vanishing species through education, study and written contributions.

Our single program is a 60-90 minute presentation of Live Reptiles, Amphibians and Invertebrates. Each program generally includes, Snakes (including at least one individual as large as 10-12 feet), Alligators (typically as large as 5 1/2 feet), Lizards, Turtles and Tortoises (including one large enough for most children to sit on), Frogs and we also include but are not limited to Tarantulas or Scorpions!

We are available for single presentations, entire days, weekends or ongoing weekly enrichment programs!

All of our animals are touchable or handleable and are always presented in a safe and professional manner. Although touching the animals is encouraged, the children are never pressured. We pride ourselves on recognizing the individual differences of the children we encounter. With Skin & Scales, Its not "my presentation," it's "our presentation." We are all the center of attention, no one is left out :)~

"Skin & Scales Presentations although very educational, are still ridiculously entertaining!"

"Skin & Scales is guaranteed to be a landmark in your childs developement!"

Skin & Scales was developed in 1989 by owner Leo Spinner and has pioneered the way for a number of other New England based Live Animal Presenters. Business really boomed in the late 90's when "The Discovery Channel" and "Animal Planet" started producing programs such as "The Crocodile Hunter" and "Snake Master."

Our programs are presented by one speaker only, owner Leo Spinner.

Since 1989 Leo Spinner has been demonstrating his expertise in herpetology through field research, captive breeding and written contributions to science. His presentations are just one more way he educates and entertains a wide variety of people of all different ages!
